Absolute Wainui is a pure beachfront experience on renowned Wainui Beach on the East Coast of New Zealand, just minutes from Gisborne City. It is the permanent home of Andy and Lynn and we look forward to sharing this incomparable location with you. Access to the beach is totally private and leads straight from the garden down steps onto Wainui Beach which is world renowned for its surfing and sunrises.

Guests can enjoy an evening stroll or swim or an early morning dip while experiencing the world's first sunrise.

Gisborne/Eastland is an area rich in history and endowed with exquisite natural beauty.

Kaiti Beach, near the city, was where the Maori immigrational waka, Horouta, landed. Gisborne was also the site of the first European landing in New Zealand; Captain James Cook sailed into the area in 1769 and came ashore near the mouth of the Turanganui River.
